Nice and relaxing place to break bread with your family! I am going to say, I love Caribbean food and love curry dishes. We had the shrimp and chickpea curry dishes. I will say they serve some smooth and flavorful. I had to order me some rice and peas that took it over the top!. You must try them both. Oh, the rum cake with coconut drippings! Mmm ummm good! Oh, and the service was good also! We will be back, next time we are in town!

Red Stripe did not disappoint! Warm hospitality, and an inviting atmosphere would be an understatement! From perfectly seasoned curry chicken to the curry shrimp that bursted with flavor with every fork full, the food was amazing! The vibrant décor and reggae tunes transport you straight to the heart of the Caribbean, making for an unforgettable dining experience. Pairing their flavorful meals and great conversation and history from owner Mr. Ezron really placed the icing on the cake! This is a definite must have. Hubs had curried goat and I had the oxtail with mac n cheese and plantains...Holy smokes! EXCELLENT! I haven't found a lot of good ethnic food in the area but this is going to be a must have. This is a hole in the wall, not a date night place. But I don't care if it's great food. And it is!

Fabulous food and friendly staff. Stopped off for lunch today while out shopping, and the food was delicious! Sadly we do not live in the area or this would becoming a regular spot. Highly recommended!

100% the biggest hidden gem in Old Town Bluffton. Caribbean style flavors amazing. Jerk chicken amazing. Curry shrimp amazing. Goat amazing. Sweet bread amazing. Unreal flavors. Everything from cocktail to entre you will love. I moved to the area a couple years ago and was looking for my local go to. Found it! Perfect for couples, singles, or families. There are a lot of great places to eat out here. But it's the ones that have great food and feel like you are sitting around the family dinner table that are on the top of my list. If you are a visitor or a local. Support this diamond in the rough. They also have a location on the island which I have never been too. Say hello to Ezra the owner/operater. Guarantee he will take great care of you. Enjoy.

We visited Hilton Head/Bluffton/Beaufort area for a few days from New York City and had a list of places to go. Unfortunately we didn't make it to all but we did stop by Red Stripes and babyyyy, we were glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and totally unexpected. Jamaican cuisine is not something every one can do, native or not, but the owner and the chefs at the Bluffton location exactly what they're doing. The food, drinks, and service was impeccable. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!

If you want tasty Caribbean food, this is the spot to hit up in Bluffton, SC. The service was excellent and they really made my girlfriend and I feel like family. We ordered the Jerk Potsticker's and a beef patty as an appetizer along with a couple of well made cocktails and spent some time getting to know the staff better. Afterwords, we decided to get the Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken, which were excellent along with the sides we chose. I would recommend this place to anyone with an adventurous palette.

One of my favorite things to come across is Caribbean food where I least expect it. We went to bluffton to visit some friends and family and were shown this amazing place that needs way more business! The food is the best Jamaican food I've had in the low country/ coastal empire so far. The owner is amazing, super friendly, and we had the luxury of going when there was a DJ playing all of the tunes. I even asked for some Dancehall and selecta delivered!! The conch fritters are the best I've ever has. Fluffy and flavorful with an amazing dipping sauce on the side. The drunken chicken was slightly sweet and cooked to perfection. The Jerk chicken, AMAZING. Mac and cheese, perfectly done. Cabbage, well cooked. Oxtail, fall off the bone and bursting with flavor. Plantain, perfectly sweet. And the Caribbean slaw was a nice little palate cleanser. Great option of drinks as well, both alcohol and non alcohol. And the outdoor area makes me feel like I'm Caribbean with the decor and games. Very clean establishment, and the service was phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
